Finca El Durazno is one of our LIFT coffees from Honduras. Wilfredo Zavala owns the farm and has 15 hectares, 13 of which are cultivated.
Finca El Durazno is in Guinope, a small village in the department of El Paraiso, with a population of 15,000 people primarily involved in the cultivation of coffee.
The farm sits at 1,600 – 1,650 meters above sea level, with an average temperature of 71 degrees, and grows yellow and red catuai. As with all LIFT farms in Honduras, the pickers at Finca El Durazno are taught only to pick the ripe cherries, and they pay particular attention to the processing of their coffees to create an exceptional product.
